DIRECTIONS

The Artsdepot Pentland theatre opened in November 2004 and is at the heart of the new development at Tally Ho Corner, North Finchley at the intersection of Ballards Lane, Woodhouse Road and the High Road N12 and incorporates the Bus Depot,  ALDI and N12 apartments. The Artsdepot’s entrance is opposite Nether Street and  can be found on the pedestrianised thoroughfare on the north side of the building.

Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre, adjacent to artsdepot’'s vibrant and spacious café/bar and meeting area, is a crescent shaped high tech space with an uniquely equipped technical gallery specially designed for digital performance work.

The Studio Theatre's 150 seats wrap around the stage creating an intimate atmosphere ideally suited to acoustic music, a comedy evening or a child's first theatre experience, as well as conferences, symposiums, presentations and demonstrations. The stage has an optional thrust, which can be lowered to allow for a demonstration area or space for children/young people to sit on the floor closer to the stage.

Underground

Artsdepot is situated between West Finchley, Finchley Central and Woodside Park tube stations on the Northern Line. West Finchley and Woodside Park are the closest stations, approximately half a mile away, but Finchley Central has the best bus link, with frequent buses along Ballards Lane (approx 3 minutes journey) – 125, 460, 82, see below.

Parking

There are around 400 Pay & Display parking spaces in borough run car parks on Castle Street, Lodge Lane, Woodhouse Road and Stanhope Road, all in close proximity to Artsdepot. All the Borough’s car parks are pay and display from Monday to Saturday 8am–6.30pm, and are unrestricted out of these hours; the maximum stay varies from 4 hours to all day.
