Amanda Noar has recently appeared in funk face!

at the Arts Depot

Funkface!, starring Amanda Noar, played  recently at the Arts Depot in London after a premier at the Comedy Store in Manchester.
The story revolves around Regina Woolfstein, a struggling single mum from Manchester who created a fashion brand against all the odds, when after 15 years she found herself single once again but with three growing children to raise.
With only her training in beauty therapy & make-up to fall back on, she went out to find work. Having to fill both parental roles meant she could only work part-time and this meant life, at times, became a real struggle.
She realised that the only way forward both emotionally and financially was to set up her own company called Funkface.

Amanda says: "It's an absolute scream! It talks to everyone who has ever been frustrated by his or her life, loves and work. I could relate in many ways to the story. It's full of tears but also a massive number of laughs. A bit like life itself".
